啥？孩子学了好几年英语，听读通关，还是不会写？英语考试中作文成了落分项？连开头都写不好？今天的文章或许对你有帮助。
文小麦对很多孩子来说，写作是英语学习中最大的弱项。虽说从小就开始启蒙，但因为听和读练习远多于说和写，所以输出能力要比输入能力落后一大截。其原因一方面可能是主观上对写作重视不够，另外一方面则是客观上难度不同。听、读启蒙相对容易上手，也最容易看到进步。如果选材和方法得当，靠英文动画片和绘本就可以让孩子掌握一定的听力和阅读能力。当然深度阅读要另说。写作则不同，如果不经过专门的训练，孩子很难达到自由表达的水平。因为它不仅涉及词汇和语法的积累，更涉及到思维逻辑，还需掌握一定的技巧。
汉语的写作训练，基本是从一、二年级的看图写话开始的，这其实是从一定程度上给了孩子一个思维的框架，在此基础上再扩展语言，会相对容易。到了三、四年级，则以记叙文为主，字数要求增多，孩子觉得难度加大，无从下手，“流水账”式的文章频频出现。
美国小学的英文写作，在一、二年级也多以写句子为主，甚至在学前的启蒙阶段，画画就是一种启蒙训练。（关于写作启蒙可参考我们以前的文章：《老美如何教孩子写作？美国教育部操作指南来了！》）到了三年级，课上开始训练写读书报告、研究论文。对，你没看错，就是研究论文(essay)！我们到了大四、研究生阶段才开始的科技论文写作，他们从小就开始练习了。“我们这几周在做一个项目，比如研究某种昆虫，要写出论**PPT。”第一次听美国三年级的小P孩说这样的话，觉得不可思议。当她真的拿回论文，我惊的下巴都快掉了！天哪！虽然只有几百字，但让这么小的孩子写论文，美国老师是怎么做到的？！
经过与美国老师沟通，我才发现，原来他们的学术论文写作，都是有套路的！老师在课上会讲很多的写作技巧(writing skills)，比如文章开篇怎样写可以吸引读者，如何结尾会让人回味无穷，文中内容以什么样的逻辑组织，选择怎样的过渡词衔接等等。掌握了这些技巧后，孩子们就能轻松的写论文了，而且有头有尾有内容，不服不行！这么一对比，听上去很“唬人”的英文论文写作其实比我们的记叙文训练更简单，更适合基础训练！写作当中，开篇的重要性不言而喻。我们被一篇文章吸引住，大部分都是因为题目和开头，好的开头才能让人产生读下去的欲望。那么，如何才能抓住读者眼球呢(How to Hook Your Reader’s Attention)？英语里“hook”这个词用的形象极了，老美甚至直接把文章开头称作“hook”了!今天小麦就先来教孩子几个写hook的小技巧。
1Surprise the reader 制造惊讶一个出乎意料、有趣的事实往往能快速引起读者的兴趣，用数据说话是non-fiction类写作中非常实用的方法之一。比如：There are about 10 billion bacteria in your mouth.你的口中有大约100亿个细菌。（数目惊人！）A cat has over 30 muscles in each ear.猫的每只耳朵有超过30块肌肉。（人们很难想象一个小小的猫耳朵会有这么多块肌肉！）从一些可以预期的事情开始，但给它一个意想不到的转折。比如：Cats are loving, quiet creatures, but dogs make way better pets!猫是很可爱、安静的生物，但狗狗可能是更好的宠物！（第一句话很符合人们的预期和对猫的传统印象，但作者却提出狗狗更适合做宠物，读者难免想要知道“为什么？”）陈述一些似乎与人们的常识相矛盾的东西。比如：A giraffe can actually survive without water for longer than a camel.在没有水的情况下，长颈鹿实际上可以比骆驼存活的时间更长。（骆驼可是沙漠之舟呀！）这些开头很容易造成读者的惊讶，并想要读下去一探究竟。
2Ask a question 提出问题针对文章想要表达的内容，提出能引发读者思考的问题。比如：“Isn't it surprising, how many different modes of communication are available to us today?”“不令人惊讶吗，如今我们有多少种不同的沟通方式可供选择？”（读者很可能已经开始在大脑里数数了：电邮、社交账号、电话、短信）“How would you feel if someone read your diary?”“如果有人读了你的日记，你会作何感想？”读者很容易设身处地思考自己的答案。提出需要答案的问题，使读者想去探寻其原因。比如：“Why do citizens need to follow laws?”“为什么公民需要遵守法律？”提问的方式既适用于non-fiction，也适用于fiction。比如：“What is the craziest thing you have ever done?”“你做过最疯狂的事是什么？”就很适合做叙事文的开头。以下是两个非常好的问题式开头实例，提出问题，又顺畅地做了后文引导：Have you ever felt so sad that you didn’t want to leave the house? Well, I have and it is a terrible feeling. I wouldn’t want anyone to feel this way!What would you do if you found five hundred dollars buried in your backyard?That is what happend to me on a warm, sunny, summer day. It was early June and I was picking dandelions in my backyard when I spotted a brown bag sticking out of the grass.
3Use a quotation 引用权威引经据典也是我们汉语写作的常用手法。“引用”会使读者感兴趣，有时因为它说了什么，有时因为它是谁说的，或者二者兼而有之。你可以引用与文章内容契合度高的至理名言或者是诙谐幽默的警句。名人的话听上去往往更有权威，所以记得注明出处很关键！比如：Albert Einstein once said that?爱因斯坦曾经说过：Chief Seattle once said,“ The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth.”Seattle酋长曾说过：“地球不属于人，人属于地球。”
这需要平时多阅读、多积累，当然如果脑子里如果没有好的备选，我们也有临时抱佛脚的办法。小麦帮大家搜集了一个查询名言的网站。登录网站后可以根据主题或者作者进行关键词搜索：https://www.brainyquote.com/例如在搜索框输入“kindness”，可搜到很多相关条目。
4Use descriptive words 使用描述性词汇开篇可以描述一幅画面，它可以是有趣的、优美的，也可以是神秘的。尽量使用细节性词汇，用文字描述你正在创建的场景、营造气氛，令读者产生画面感并身临其境。
例如，如果写的是你在冬天里喜欢做的事情，那么可以这样开始："Jumping in big, slushy, icy puddles is certainly on my list of favorite things to do in the winter, but nothing tops a snowball fight on a cold, blustery day."“跳进冰冷的大泥坑里当然是我在冬天里最喜欢做的事情之一，但什么也比不上在寒风里打雪仗。”你可以用与视觉、听觉、嗅觉、味觉和触觉五感相关的词汇；可以用形容词和副词描绘事情如何发生的，或其品质如何；还可以用夸张、拟人、比喻的手法创建图像。比如下面这段开头就用丰富的形容词和生动的动词描述了作者回忆中的祖母的厨房。If I close my eyes, I can put myself right back in my grand mom's kitchen. The cold, ceramicfloors glistened in thebright sun light that shined through the picture window. The **ell of apple pietickled my nose. Thelarge, wooden table was filled with goodies.除了以上提到的四项技巧，文章的开头还可以使用对话或拟声词，比如:“Beep! Beep! Beep!”不同寻常的对话(dialogue)和声音(sound effect)往往带来引人入胜的故事情节，非常适合fiction类题材写作。
5你可能还差一点点改变很多人喜欢在开头时使用“我( I)”，经常会造成枯燥刻板的印象，其实是有不少技巧可以帮你避免这样的乏味句式。比如这样的例子：例一：I went to the mall and bought clothes. It was fun.同样的内容，怎么表达会更有趣呢？试试这样：Going to the mall and buying clothes is fun.这里把句子结构顺序进行了调整，把动词提前并使用-ing形式。例二：I like colorful birds.怎么样说会令人兴奋？把形容词提前！Colorful birds are beautiful.例三：I run quickly through the woods.把副词提前：Quickly, I run through the woods.例四： I walk down the street and see my friend.把环境地点提前：Walking down the street, I see my friend.例五：I will get a haircut tomorrow.把时间名词提前：Tomorrow, I will get a haircut.怎么样，这些实用小技巧你get到了吗？其实它们不止适用于英文写作，很多也可以运用到汉语写作当中。可以鼓励孩子们大胆尝试不同写法，让文章在开头部分就脱颖而出！

高考英语作文写作技巧审题。
拿到题目后，手中拿铅笔，手脑眼嘴并用，开始审题。看题目的要求是什么，要点是什么，特殊要求是什么。譬如你是叫李华，还是随便一个名字？要议论文还是记叙文？对分几段写有无要求？等等。诸如此类的硬性要求信息，都最好用铅笔划下来，以免出错，也许你一开始会记得，可随着时间的流逝，你会不会因紧张而遗忘这些信息呢？还是小心为妙。边看最好边张嘴默读，这样就不会遗漏或忽略任何一个字了。
草稿。
有的同学怕出错，全文都打草稿再誊写，我姑且认为不太可取，毕竟考场时间宝贵，即使我有四十分钟时间写作文也不敢贸然这么做，更何况考场时我们留给作文的时间往往一再被压缩。有的同学不打草稿，我认为更不太可取。一来容易出错，二来边写边想思维不连贯，即使思维连贯也无法审词酌句，展现自己最好的一面，容易后悔。
正式写。
这样的草稿打完后，就要快快写了。注意，英语作文的卷面简直太重要了，一定要把字写整齐，写大。没有把握的词和句子不用。别忘了遵守你最初用铅笔划下的题目的规定。
检查。
注意，最最重要的一步来了。尽管很小心，可是我们写英语作文还是会犯下很多错误。单词拼写的，大小写的，等等。这些错误会极大破坏我们在阅卷老师心目中的形象，一定要坚决誓死消灭。即使时间再紧，请务必留下1——2分钟检查作文的时间，消除隐性错误。

I wasn't afraid of them before, but now I can't stand them. It started when I was sleeping one day and **elled a disgusting odor. I discovered a dead cockroach under my body and its eggs on my pillow! I almost died! I jumped off my bed at once and took a bath quickly. The experience made me hate cockroaches. What I find most disgusting is when I see a cockroach fly around the room. I'm always afraid that they m1ght land on me. Hearing the sound of its wings makes me nervous and afraid. Cockroaches pose a threat to our daily lives. A dirty environment will attract many cockroaches and this may threaten our health. They pollute food and water and bring many illnesses, such as dysentery and skin diseases. I can't help shivering at the sight of them. 9.Recently, three owls appeared suddenly on our campus. They made me think of my pet from childhood. When I was little, we had an owl at home. It was **all, gray, and had two big eyes. We liked it very much. Every time I went home, it greeted me by making “goo-goo” sounds. We always played with it and talked to it. It would blink its eyes just like it understood what we were saying. It was like my best friend. But when the weather became colder, we forgot to keep it warm, and it died. It made us sad for a long time, and it also taught me how important it is to take care of animals. 10.A library used to be only a building with a lot of books and a very quiet place to me. I had never wanted to enter a traditional library because it was a boring place for a child. Since I became a senior high school student, I have more homework that requires me to find the latest information on a topic or some good ideas.
