“华大新高***” 由华中师范大学第一附属中学、湖南师范大学附属中学、武汉外国语学校三所全国一流名校发起、华中师范大学考试研究院主办，是目前我国唯一由教育部直属师范院校与高中名校共同组成，以服务高中学校高考命题研究、教学教研、教师专业发展以及学校管理为宗旨的高中名校教育教学联合体。经过各高中学校申请，华中师范大学考试研究院审核，目前确定的加盟学校有70余所，包括河南省郑州外国语学校、西北工业大学附属中学、湖南省长沙市第一中学、广东省深圳中学、安徽省合肥市第一中学、山东省实验中学、江西师范大学附属中学等全国一流名校，以及湖北省襄阳市第五中学、湖北省襄阳市第四中学等省级示范中学。
据华中师范大学考试研究院长王后雄介绍，未来“华大新高***” 将立足于一线教学，开展多种多样的教育科研活动，例如主题教育论坛、试题命制研究、教师职后培训、编撰出版教研成果，以及一年三次的高质量高仿真联考测评等，为联盟学校解决发展中的困难与瓶颈，以新高考改革为契机展开对学校教育革新与学生个性发展的新的思考、研究与探索。
